i keep thinking.they say the earth is getting warmer due to excessive carbon dioxide and that and yet we are getting some of the coldest weather that we have had for some time . Surely the weather should be getting warm if global warming was true.No conspiracy theorist
Surely you understand that warmer weather makes the polar ice caps melt faster, do I really need to explain how the weather works to you? Do I? Really?
and why are the polar ice caps 'melting' because apparently the weather in a global sense is getting warmer. If the weather in general is getting warmer than why are we getting weather that is colder than ever before.seems you are the one that needs explaining http://www.independent.co.uk/environment/climate-change/global-warming-is-happening-even-if-it-doesnt-feel-like-it-1858998.html
You might think the current weather conditions are almost Siberian – and you'd be right. Britain's most prolonged spell of freezing weather since 1981 is being caused by a huge mass of intensely cold air over north-east Russia, with easterly winds sweeping its glacial temperatures across northern Europe to the UK.And just as in the 20th century's coldest ever winter in Britain, of 1962-63 – although not on such a severe scale – the cold is being held in place over the British Isles by what is known as a "blocking anti-cyclone", a static area of high pressure over Greenland which is preventing the usual warmer, damper westerly winds from reaching us across the Atlantic. So if it is the longest cold snap for 29 years, does that prove that the idea of global warming is a non-starter? Funnily enough, it doesn't. For once you look at current meteorological conditions across the whole world, a different picture emerges.
this article perfectly answers my question and it seems that obviously many people are wondering the same thing that i asked as it warrants a whole article in two major British newspapers.foolish uneducated ignorant children

Weather and climate are two different thingsto understand the weather you need to know that seasons are created by the earths tilt on its axis in respect to the sun, so on july the earth is furthest away from the sun and with the tilt allows the sun to direct a steep angled ray at a specific spot giving a hotter reading, and with the longer days and shorter nights allows us to take full advantage. Autumn/Winter is the opposite, its closer to the sun, however the sun directs the rays at a shallow angle for a short period of time. Now because last summer was really hot we can assume that the earths tilt had an affect on the suns rays, thus reversing the procedure for winter giving it a very cold winter.
