Conviction rates for rape are far lower than other crimes, with only 5.7% of reported rape cases ending in a conviction for the perpetrator. (Kelly, Lovett and Regan, A gap or a chasm? Attrition in reported rape cases, 2005)

Conviction rates are low because the vast majority of cases are dropped before they can be proven as false accusations before a jury.

bro just read this https://rapecrisis.org.uk/statistics.php

it's clearly not slanted in their favour, these are Your prejudices

you tell me about media demonisation but then quote a site called rapecrisis, because they don't cut their data to run with their narrative?

a quick look on the office of the national statistics show more people are being convicted year on year and the average sentence is longer year on year.

feel free to go through it.

are you saying more people being convicted of rape is a bad thing?

false rape accusations are rare - only 109 cases have been prosecuted in the last 5 years. compare that to the startling amount of women who say they have been raped/ assaulted and i think we can gleam where your bias lies.

a lot of women don't come forward about it because - surprise surprise - people don't believe them, and the blame gets shifted about, as it does in the media as we can see.

this imaginary 'poor lad has his life ruined by evil woman!!!' thing is just an emotional thing, it's not based in any kind of fact. yea it does happen but it's rare enough that the focus should be more on how we stop men thinking its ok to take what aint theres to this degree

Unfortunately this is an emotional thing and it can't be quantified, define 'lots', how much does that equate in comparison to the amount reported?

Nah i'm pointing out that the increase in convictions debunks this whole rape culture bs. You have a higher chance getting convicted of rape than ever before, i think that sends a clear signal to perpetrators and victims.

The focus should be on making woman feel more comfortable coming forward, and there are many dedicated groups working on that, and clearly it's working.

President Donald Trump appeared to admit that Russia interfered in the 2016 US presidential election in a Friday night tweet in which he criticized Barack Obama for his handling of Russia's cybertattacks that were meant to swing the election away from Hillary Clinton.

"Just out: The Obama Administration knew far in advance of November 8th about election meddling by Russia. Did nothing about it. WHY," Trump asked.

only reason he'll prob do a Hanukkah event is because his daughter is Jewish

Of course he will. He has active support from those claiming onto Zionism.

His Daughter is a convert to Judiasm, in order to marry. Which totally goes against the norm. According to Jewish religous law, you can only be jewish via maternal root. eg via birth Mother. Obvs there are exceptions (like money, power, political and zionist power circle motives) and is decided by some powerful Rabbis to allow her in.

Her Jewish husband Jared Kushner is son to some multi real estate mogul and part of Trumps team in the background. She couldn't marry him unless she did this.
