whenever I drive thru seven sisters/clapton and obvs stamford hill back roads after like 9pm I see Orthodox Jewish folk jammin on corners, in groups or solo.

Quamari Barnes was stabbed to death yesterday

A 15-year-old has been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of a schoolboy in Willesden yesterday afternoon.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The victim, who has been named locally as Quamari Barnes, died after he was attacked outside Capital City Academy in Doyle Gardens.

The boy was arrested at an address in Norbury, south London, today at 1.30pm.

Police and paramedics were called to the scene of the stabbing at around 3.30pm.

Quamari was rushed to hospital but died a few hours later.

DCI Mark Lawson, who is leading the murder hunt, is appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

He said: “The area around Doyle Gardens and Uffington Road was very busy at the time of the murder. A large number of children were going home from school. I would like to hear from them, or their parents, as I’m certain that people will have information that could prove vital to the investigation.

“Whilst the motive for this stabbing remains unclear, I would also like to speak with anyone who may have heard about what happened after the attack.”

Capital City Academy have released a statement.

It says: “It is with overwhelming sadness that Capital City Academy must confirm the sudden death of one of its students yesterday.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this very sad time; and also with friends, fellow students and teachers.

“Capital City Academy will be offering a counselling service to students and staff.”Anyone with information is urged to contact police via 101 or by tweeting @MetCC. They can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
