He's not ready for the first team...

but still need match time whats wrong with playing with the reserves. Plenty first team players do it. Ask Nani ask Adnan.

Ask Adnan what?

He didn't get a team promoted to the Prem, nothing to ask him.

Man ain't ready for what exactly?

So the rest of the Palace side that came up cos of him are not ready for Prem week in week out?

Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher has stepped up his training regime this week as he closes in on a long-awaited return from a bowel problem.

Fletcher has not played for United since December last year after suffering a re-occurrence of the ulcerative colitis disease.

The 29-year-old was forced to have part of his colon removed in April as part of the treatment, and was then widely expected to announce his retirement from the game.

However, David Moyes included him in United’s 25-man Premier League squad in August, and Fletcher returned to training three weeks later.

The Scotland international is now gearing up for a return to competitive football, having ramped up his training regime this week.

Fletcher is working closely with United’s medical team as they pencil in a return date, with some suggesting it could happen later this month.

Horrible performance

One shot all game

Vidic mistake again

Fellani looking like a penalty waiting to happen

Welbeck isolated on the left because Evra didnt get forward enough even though he had Fellani or Carrick to cover him

Valencia couldn't beat an egg

RVP might aswel have laid down and rested his injury whilst adding a CL cap to his name

Was like that game vs Blackburn again when Pogba couldn't get a place in CM

Rooney out, Giggs bench and yet Kagawa still could not start

/

So many people talking shit

''We should be happy with a point''

Ye if we actually went out and tried to win and we were unlucky to no beat them and got a draw, or they were an amazing team, lost 3 of there best players and they played shit yet we could not put through one tricky through ball, pathetic

Loser mentality because when Shaktar come OT no way they will play as p*ssy-esque as that and only attempt one shot at goal

Same when Bilboa came and played us of the park, why are we so timid to go away and leave our stamp on the game instead of hoping to soak up pressure all game and maybe score on the counter, if that defender had actually stopped Fellani poor low cross we would have lost with no chances made at all

Instead we paper over the cracks again

Look at Bayern away to City, you dont see them drop there attacking players, same with Dortmund, you dont see them drop Reus or Miyth just because they are away from home and try and grind out a draw

Go for the game, you have the players to do so

ffs

There have been odd exceptions. But Manchester United post 2001 do not go away from home in Europe and take the game to the opposition.

This is reticence to do so is probably magnified when looking at the arguably pointless stat about Shaktar's home record against English teams.

That realisation aside I'm inclined to agree.

The full Sir Alex Ferguson interview with Charlie Rose [54 minute video]

article-2441671-1875217800000578-499_634

Sir Alex Ferguson’s interview with American chat show host Charlie Rose has dominated the football news over the past couple of days.

The legendary Manchester United boss touched on a range of subjects with Charlie Rose in a fascinating interview.

Fergie’s comments on Wayne Rooney and being offered the Chelsea job have been picked up by most news sources but the whole interview is worth a watch if you have a spare 54 minutes…

We hear from Ferguson about who he thinks are the all-time great players, how to motivate well paid teenagers and that he will not be returning to management.

Plus, his plans for retirement, love of horses and more about the man himself.

Interview is a bit dead

More for non-football fans

Want to know about if he has any regrets, player wise and tactic wise

ie. Forlan, Veron and Kleberson

Real reasons behind Eikrem, Pogba and Ravel

Impact and input of Carlos Quirez

Taking longer than other European clubs to adapt to 4-5-1/4-3-3

Etc

Just breakdowns of football aspects, scouting, players he was close to signing/missed out on/wishes he went for

Kleberson and Forlan were signed coz his brother (chief scout) recommended them, Forlan came over too early and wasnt ready for the stage at the time sadly. Kleberson was unlucky, had an excellent game against Villa (if I remember correctly) then fucked his shoulder against Southampton in the next game or so and that was it for him.

Veron was signed on the off chance as he had that passport scandal and Lazio wanted rid, he just never fit.

Reckon the Pogba debacle was down to a clash of personalities with the agent.
