Good football was never a consolation prize to winning some fans were just delusional. I can only ever bring up the good football arguement if we are actually playing good whilst winning and being up there every year.Since Henry Wenger has tried to switch positions and failed every single time. Wiltord, Reyes, Walcott, Hleb, Diaby and more have or are failing in there new positions. Two and a half years ago Wenger said Walcott will be a central player within 2 years. Where is it?Every year Wenger says we will make 2 or 3 super quality or world class signings. Where are they?We have needed a tall, dominant center back for years now, we have needed wingers ever since Pires left and also a center midfielder for years now (1 year of Flamini doesnt count). The main reason for our failings last year was strength in depth as players tired during the season end and thus caused us to slip up a few times. What happens......Flam, Hleb, Senderos, Diarra, Djourou, Traore are gone whilst Nasri, Vela, Ramsey and Silvestre are in. Three of those four names were not established in a league whilst Silvestre was a decent defender at best durin his peak (31 now smh). Next summer we will hear the following quotes:"we will make two or three class signings""buying is not always the best option im happy with the current team so far""our failings last year was cause of the youth in the team, they have gained valuable experience this year so im confident for next year"

chat sh*t stilli remember arguing with you last year i think, saying for all the football we play it's not producing trophiesand you basically said you don't support us cause of trophies, you support us cause we play good footballand that's what you want to see and you wouldn't go to watch us play if we didn't play the football we do playand you said you weren't going to arsenal v liverpool at emirates cause it will be a sh*t match, footballing wiseand that's what you know arsenal for, attractive, passing football

You must not of been arguing with me cause I never said I werent going to an Arsenal/Liverpool game. And I didnt say I support Arsenal cause of the football they play, I became a fan before the attractive football and trophies kicked in.What im saying is good football is key for entertainment but if you cannot mix it with winning then is there a point? 4 years straight now we have heard Wenger's 'transition' story in different words. Fact remains if we keep on losing players and not replacing them we will be stuck in this transitional period. How on earth can Wenger be untouchable, laughed at that still.

eddie_murphy_raw_1977_17.jpg"ARSENE, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE FOR ME LATELY?"

Arsène Wenger has now earned the distinction of becoming the only manager in history to reach the finals of all three European club competitions and lose every one.
I personally hope he stays for a very long time.
