Thank god its only one. Could have been a lot worse but Manures finishing/ final ball wsnt on point todayAlmunia made a few good saves, nothing spectacular. Every keeper should save thoseFabregas and Ade were very poorWalcott was anonymous, but not surprising really
LOL @ these gormless twats who believe Walcott is this amazing superstar, get real4-5-1 cost us in the FA Cup & cost us 2niteIt clearly doesnt work, and nullifies are best attacking threats4-5-1 Only works/worked when Hleb, Rosicky, Rvp playUtd have 2 be utter dross 4 them not to score at our ground, coz as well as we play we always look like conceding
Smh, Walcott is the only hope of making the 4-5-1 work with the personnel we currently have, cos Fabregas clearly isn't.Cup final yes, but remember this is a 2 legged game. The alternative was 4-4-2 which with no van Persie, and wingers who Wenger doesnt trust to stay switch on to do their defensive side the whole game which is a risk in big games Wenger wont take, or a 4-5-1 with Nasri further forward but who on the left? Eboue? Cos thats who it would have been...
4-4-2 Diaby on the left and Yes Eboue on the right & Theo upfront, Cesc & Song in the middleThat can easily switch to a 4-5-1Plus I 4got to say Arshavin amid those who can make the system workWalcott aint the only 1 that can make it work with the personnel, Nasri can go right, Walcott only has pace, but against the big teams sprinting isnt enough, you need genuine ability and the boy lacks that out wideIve said from day we needed to score, and we fluffed everything 2nite, didnt create anything

I don't see how we have the advantage as I expect Barca to score next leg. BUT Hiddink has a great tactical mind so I'm gonna trust that he has a plan.
Theres a chance Barca get stage stage fright at the bridge tbhChelsea got skooled anyways, Lampard & Essien got made 2 look extremely average

Anderson was played well, ate our midfieldHow I miss Hleb, Flamini & Rosicky
There wasn't much to eat.c/s...though I'd be happy with just flamini and RosickySong did alright overall, same with Gibbs.Nasri > Rosicky? lol.Surprised Rooney didn't give the defence more trouble.

Sir Alex Ferguson warned Arsenal they will struggle to stop his Manchester United side scoring in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final.United won their home leg 1-0 but squandered several chances to make the scoreline more convincing."We played at a good high tempo and maybe we should have scored four goals, but before the game, I wanted to win without losing a goal," said Ferguson."We know we can go there and score and that is the big problem Arsenal have."United dominated the game, but only had John O'Shea's 17th-minute goal to show for their efforts.Cristiano Ronaldo had a header saved and hit the bar with a second-half screamer, while Carlos Tevez saw a close-range effort brilliantly stopped by Gunners keeper Manuel Almunia. It's down to us to make sure they regret they didn't score a second goalArsenal boss Arsene Wenger"The bigger problem is if you don't make the chances. I believe they can make the chances again. We know we have goal threats," said Ferguson.Arsene Wenger believes his Arsenal players are capable of a much better performance at the Emirates Stadium and was relieved to emerge from the first leg with only a one-goal deficit to make up."I believe that we have a good chance to reverse the result," he said."I am convinced you will see a different Arsenal team at the Emirates."United can have regrets because they didn't score a second goal. It's down to us to make sure they regret they didn't score a second goal."Wenger reserved special praise for Spanish keeper Almunia."He had a big game in a big game. 606: DEBATEConsidering how the first 20 minutes went, this was not a bad resultToomuchCesc"His saves were excellent, top class in every sense. His reading of the game, his decision making, quality, sharpness. He was really top class tonight."Ferguson, meanwhile, chose to single out goalscorer O'Shea, whose only other goal this season was in the Carling Cup semi-final against Derby."He is a great professional. The boy never complains. He is happy to play anywhere," said the United manager."He has not always been a number one choice but he produces 30 performances a season and it is a contribution we are grateful for."At the present moment in time, he would be in the team if we got to the final."However, Ferguson remains concerned that United's fixture list could hamper their bid to win four trophies this season. He claimed that while Arsenal can afford to rest players in their Premier League game against Portsmouth on Saturday, he must pick a strong side for the early kick-off against Middlesbrough as United look to maintain their lead in the title race."Arsenal's big advantage is that they can play Pat Rice at right-back and Arsene himself at centre-forward on Saturday," said Ferguson."We have to play a team to win the game. We have a lunchtime kick-off at Middlesbrough and I do not think it is right."

TBH he aint really firing shotshe's just stateing the fact that as Arsenal got nothing to play for they can rest whoever they want.3 Negatives from the gameWe didn't score enough considering the chances we hadRio's Injuryand that Believe shite before the game is cringeworthy and very scouse-esque we must stop using these kinda ploys now before it gets out of hand.for years we've taken the piss out of them for this kinda nonsence and now we've jumped on that ship.we'll score next week and therefore i reckon we'll go through,i just hope it aint a tense game coz if it is Rooney will definitly get booked and miss the final.

Last night was the only time (this season) that ive seen Lampard completely out the game, they had him man marked for most of the game.As for Essien , he started out on the right at 1st so he could give good cover for Ivanovic , but he was out of pace.

He should haveGibbs tripped him, then he decided to dive to ensure the FKIf that wasnt freekick worthy then I assume you have to go down to get a freekick/decision

The initial tackle was a foul but he could have stayed on his feet, which he did do... then chose to dive, serves him right. If he went down at the time of impact(which I don't agree with but it happens now) the ref probably would have given it.The ref was good yesterday anyway.
