I listened once and wasn't really feeling it.

 

Sonically it's definitely interesting and he definitely took it in a different direction but for me that doesn't equate to a good album. He's been playing around with the fusion of traditional hip hop and a more abstract electronic sound for a while and in my opinion he hit the sweet spot with MBDTF, on first listen I think this veers too far to the left for my taste.

 

I'm going to give it another listen though.

Album is shit, ye I respect man is trying to take his music in a new direction but i'm not a fan.

First 4 tracks on reflection are decent though and that's based on the style of the album. If i just heard those 4 songs randomly on a mixtape I'd say they're shit.
