Had a powercut earlier- that sh*t was so old school. No cooker cos its electric and gas. No hot water cos boiler is part electric. House phone was out of action cos base station uses electricity meaning had to ring 0845 number on mobile to find out what had happened. . Laptop basically a desktop so was gone. Thank God it was daylight hours./When power came on I got a call from my brothers school saying he failed to get the 5 A-C grades required in his GCSEs to go to college and that he has to take some online test tomorrow when he gets his results worth .5 of a GCSE Cue moral dilemma- he was away at the beach all day, didn't wanna ruin his time before breaking the news and def didn't want him going AWOL. Couldn't tell my Mum cos he needed to hear it first So went around with her all day just acting normal trying to change subject every time she mentioned exam resultsBroke it to them both during half time of the match- the result helped my day
