what are they hoping to achieve by offering the reward? seems like a provocative and unhelpful move to me. Im always suspicious of self-styled paramilitary organizations that dress up in uniforms, always attract a certain type of person.

forensic evidence should close the book on this incident - angle of entry of bullets, particle residue on trayvon. knowing the police they probably f*cked all that up too.

f*ck does GPR and angle of entry wounds do in this case to say wether its self defense or not? What ya saying is irrelevant the witness testimony should be sufficient

ofc its f*ck*ng relevant, the witness statements are conflicting. Zimmerman claims trayvon was on top of him slamming his head against the ground, and that trayvon went for his gun. If the forensic evidence shows that trayvon was shot from several feet away and that the bullets entered at a downward angle then that would completely disprove zimmerman's version of events and show us conclusively that trayvon was murdered in cold blood. Whether we feel it is unlikely that an unarmed 140lbs kid posed a threat to a grown man doesnt matter, it has to be proven beyond reasonable doubt. Regardless, zimmerman should of been arrested, but forensics will be crucial in convicting the guy (providing the evidence hasnt been entirely compromised).

Don't know how you can follow someone, blast them and call that self defence..

It's like breaking into someones yard, waking the person up, starting a confrontation and then killing them saying it was self defence because they came at you.

Well when you constantly arrest there leaders for made up crimes, police harassment, assassinations of the leaders, and pumping hte communities with drugs and no jobs etc how could they have succeeded.

I would say they did succeed. They instilled a sense of pride in a lot of black youth in a time when there was no pride at all.

The basis for alot of his argument is what George Zimmerman has said to him over the phone ? ridiculous, the one single black man arguing his case in this, why would he not use that to his advantage as much as possible ? Surely he cant be that dim to not see that he cant take everything said by the guy as gospel

some of the stuff he comes out with is madness

just excuses anything brought against the guys name while freely admitting how little he actually knew about his track record for violent actions. talking about gut feeling, wtf is he on ?

my only issue in the case..being rational since none of us were there is to know Who made those screams for help on the 911 Audio

its being claimed that it was Zimmerman...if this can be authenticated then there should be more focus on that...

I just wish it could have been viewed as a simple crime, murder. Arrest him, charge him put him on trial and do justice to the victim. Race f*cks everything in this and means it becomes a debate not a murder investigation.

You're right, I was feeling slightly uncomfortable seeing some of the American news, it becomes a whites vs blacks thing and that is besides the point.

the 'problem' is that at first it was viewed and treated as a standard crime, thats why hes walked free. It wasn't until race came in as a realistic factor, which is still a problem in the real world whether people acknowledge it or not, that its been taken more seriously.

If trayvon was not black he would be alive today.

If the guy didn't have a gun Trayvon would be alive today.

It seemed like such a trivial confrontation on the surface, really pathetic that it should end in a death either way imo.
