Messi has dominated the league that you man claim is the best and the champions league, knock out stages and finals for the past 6-7 years consistently.

Badded up the best defenders in the world over the last 6-7 years consistently

And he's only 27

Comfortably a GOAT

And his international career isn't anywhere near as bad as some make out

Apart from Olympic gold,friendlies,qualifiers.

Gone missing in Copa Americas(even on home soil)

Two horrible world Cups

He has had a very bad International career

He is a GOAT in terms of club football so is Cristiano Ronaldo easily

They are on the same level.

As I've said before in 15/20 years there is gnna be a kid that scores 300 in 175 games, wins pure trophies and porchy will say he's not messi levels

Being nostalgic is easy

Same way music and films were better in the 90s

To be the best you have to perform against the best

Now back in the day this had to be done at a world cup because some of best players was playing in the Copa Libertadores and some in the European Cup so the world cup was one opportunity to get everyone together to see a player like South American based player like Pele prove himself against a Bobby Moore for example.

But today all of the best players play in the CL and Europe's top leagues.

Zidane

Euro 2000 + WC 2006

Had a good game against Denmark

Scored the winner against Spain

Was out of this world against Portugal

Locked down against Italy

He was poor in group stages

Had a good game against Spain

Against Brazil put on a clinic(I have never seen someone dominated a big game like this ever)

Scored the winner against Portugal in SF

Scored in another final then got sent off

Iniesta

Hasn't dominated a tournament

2010 he wasn't that good apart from the winner

So Iniesta 2010=Zidane 1998

2012

He had one good game against Italy

Was dominated by Modric

Didnt even see him against France e Portugal

Zidane is a better footballer than Iniesta and could change big games but Iniesta has had a superior career in club level.

It's like Maradona y Messi

He isnt a good winger anymore.

He an inside forward so it would be natural for him to become CF(poacher)

I dont care if he isnt good with his back to goal

No CF in this era is touching him

:/

Since when does being an inside forward make it natural to be a CF

How many great CF's have been inside forwards?

Iniesta is probably my favourite player of this generation but please don't let me read he's better than Zidane on here again.

!

lol @ comparing that sideman to the great Zidane

They saying he is getting greedy and lazy becoming like Cristiano 2.0

I haven't noticed this

The Madrid media are being very silly and looking for second season syndrome to happen but it won't
