Klopp—"[Wenger] likes having the ball, playing football, passes … it's like an orchestra. But it's a silent song, yeah? I like heavy metal."

It makes the premiership more entertaining as a whole, but it doesnt necessarily make the top premier league teams more competitive on the continent.
I look at the way some top European players used to flood the EPL, now how many of those top top players can you say made it to these shores over this past summer?
Meanwhile the best players in England are slowly migrating out. Bale and Tevez are just a couple of names that left but that number of top players here could have gone way up. We might have been talking about Suarez, Nani, Kompany leaving too.
People will point to the likes of Jovetic, Negredo, Soldado coming in but they are not the top top players coming from Europe. Not one of them matches up to the likes of Cavani or Falcao.
We can go on about trying to improve grass routes football in this country but the more chances we give to those young English lads the less of those great European or south Ameriacn players will be coming to our shores.
What you get is a lull to the quality of the premiership as the young British players have to play catchup, much as had to happen in the mid 90s after English teams were allowed back into european competition.
Yeah its all waffle but its all connected.
