That would be Mertesacker sir.

Exactly.

Monreal has improved because it's like that time at CB almost made him realise how much of a fuck boy Mertesacker is and he now positions himself a lot better in light of it, I'd argue the Herrera goal, Monreal's decision making is probably more about how dire Mertesacker is, then Fellani.

Gibbs and positioning have never been great, but at times Gibbs is probably our most willing attacker and that alone is reason for Wenger to love him, fulfills his system well.

No point Gibbs attacking. His link up play is poor, can't cross to save his life. Just does those shit overlaps to the byline time after time.

Monreal has comfortably out performed him. Hence why Gibbs has sat on the bench most of the season.

Most of you guys laughed when I backed Nacho over Gibbs start of the season.

Guys 26 & he's basically the same player as when he broke through.

Those shit overlaps move players. Something our stagnant attack struggles to do for long periods.

Nah Gibbs has improved, at the beginning he was AWFUL with his positioning, tackling and composure.

Might move players... but we don't create more chances, play better football or look defensively more solid with him starting.

He needs to study videos of Cole & learn how to make runs with a purpose.

We are offensively better with him in the team, the negative is defensively well  but that said Gibbs and Coquelin haven't shared much time in the team together.

He runs with a purpose, just he doesn't have a final ball, that said asking him to be Cole is unfair, cos Cole had Ljungberg, Bergkamp and Henry... Gibbs has Madame Tussauds.

Offensively with him in the side? I don't agree at all.

His defensive game overall is better than his offence.

I'd like Gibbs to push on but honestly, if the rumours about us looking at Gaya from Valencia & Ricardo Rodriguez are true, and Wenger believe they have higher ceilings than Gibbs, then we should get them.

No chance better going forward, than behind him recovey pace aside.

Like I said IMO any LB coming in is to replace Monreal not Gibbs.

on Wilshere wanting to stay at Arsenal…

He wants to stay at the club? I hope so! He has been educated here and he’s Arsenal through and through. He and Kieran Gibbs are. He arrived at nine years of age and Gibbs at 12. You want them to be the future of the team and the core of the team

Mathieu #Flamini has confirmed that he'll stay at Arsenal "for one more year". FA Cup will not be his final game.

Imagine if this is true

kmt

who else will pay him those crazy wages?

Socialist Wenger>>>>>

I knew I shouldn't have logged on to ViP2. It's been the shittest day I've had in years and somehow I thought it couldn't get worse.

I need to learn when to quit and just go bed.
