darkman
Gill didn't want Moyes in the first place. People have said they aren't as close as they used to be, Fergie is probably quietly relieved Moyes has gone. Why would he be relieved?

Thizz
Times have changed though. If he turns out to be as good as Cole in his prime £30m is a fucking steal.

People have said they aren't as close as they used to be, Fergie is probably quietly relieved Moyes has gone. Why would he be relieved? The transition has gone worse than anyone could've imagined, if he had a time machine he'd probably go back and make a different decision. However it would've done him no good to flip flop on his decision given how much he's said about sacking managers early and his work with certain managers and organisations. The club making the decision meant that he didn't have to. If it comes out that he triggered the sacking it'd just reinforce his duplicitous nature, don't think that's the case here though. Fresh
The Guardian reports Woodward is confident of two deals have already been put in place. They are moving closer to a £30m deal for Southampton left-back Luke Shaw, while unsettled Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani is also thought to be attracting United's interest. The Ligue 1 giants are likely to ask for around £30m for the Uruguayan. An improved bid for Fabregas, who has fallen foul of the Barcelona fans, is expected while United have already held discussions with Sporting Lisbon over defensive midfielder William Carvalho. Bayern's Toni Kroos is another target but United look set to miss out on Borussia Dortmund's Ilkay Gundogan after he signed a contract extension with the Bundesliga side. United could also recoup a significant amount of money in transfer fees and wage savings with the club set for an unprecedented clear-out. Captain Nemanja Vidic has already agreed to join Inter Milan while Patrice Evra and Rio Ferdinand's futures remain unclear. Shinji Kagawa, Javier Hernandez, Nani, Anderson and Wilfried Zaha could also be on their way out.

The King
Daniel Taylor - Bumped into Woodward on flight to Paris before the PSG-Chelsea game and, having chased him (literally) to the carousel, I dropped it on him that he must be going to sign Cavani His quickfire response was a sarcastic 'yeah, because that's what we really need!' ie priority is hardly a striker *don't use that quote as would obviously be from me*

Gambino
Swear I'm looking forward to seeing what Giggs does in these remaining games. I've never looked at him and seen a Manager role in him, he doesn't look like he could rule with an Iron Fist.
