The way this fight was hyped...the way it was built up, I can't believe he got moved to like that, reminds of the Tyson/Spinks fight.I think Hatton believed in all the the talk that he'd be too big and strong for Manny and thought he could walk through Pacquiao's punches - and I thought he would too - but credit to Pacquiao, I can't think of any fighter who has carried their power through weight divisions the way he has, man's just a freak of nature. I feel bad for Hatton, he's a nice, humble guy who didn't deserve to go out like that, but he had no business in the ring with Pacquiao in the first place tbh. I think he should just bow out know, he has a legacy (in Britain at least), he's got money in the bank, his fans will always love him, I see no reason for him to carry on.As for Pacquiao, he did nothing great here tbh. He was expected to win this fight and he got the job done. This was nothing more than an overhyped warm-up fight, something to keep him busy till a new challenge came along. The real test of course is PBF. If he beats Mayweather, which I think he will (no kneejerk), f*ck P4P listings, I think it's time to start think about where he slots in the all-time list. The old Hatton who used to give angles and work to the body with those fast combinations up and downstairs RIPd after the Tyzsu fight.As YFF said, this was nothing but a gassed up warm-up fight. From they walked down to the ring the contrast was there for all to see; Pac man with a smile and Hatton looking like a nervous wreck. Pac Man has fought all-time greats Morales and DLH admittedly were washed up but Barrera was more than live; Hatton sent into the turnbuckle.Only way for Hatton to beat Pac was to adopt the style of JMM (whom I believe beat Pac twice), problem being Hatton isnt in that class at all.One farewell fight in Manchester and done for him.Pac man to f*ck up MayweatherAnd no I dont regret paying for it. They watch slow motion clips of Hatton on 24/7 and close up shots of his face while saying "im gonna win" and suddenly they think he's better then he actually is.With Mayweather it was "THE REF STOPPED HATTON GETTING INTO HIS STRIDE"Whats the excuse this time?Basically, the fans watching Hatton across the world = England football fans.
