Just jumped on a Netflix free trial.

Was appalled at first with the choice available then I stumbled upon the black films and comedies.

Got sh*t I never even heard of before and I'm in the loop, gonna get battered over Xmas.

There's a way (or was a way) to get access to the selection available in the US with some proxy tricks, check Google

Yeah I was going to suggest this. Makes the choice especially for black movies absolutely huge.

Also if you manage to access the US Netflix you can use http://instantwatcher.com/ Netflix has so many films and shows that are not on the front page that this is a useful tool.

So I got to see this 2 nights ago at a small private screening.

I've just been letting it settle in and it's still haunting me. Some of the visuals man... I don't and won't spoil anything it's best experienced with you seeing it.

But still, a very, very powerful film, I think it serves as a nice counterpoint to Django Unchained which at least had some revenge and redemption for the audience. This though is real life and it's never as simple as the bad guy dies and that's it. This was day to day life for many people.

I'm going to see it again when it comes out officially, I think it's the 10th of January 2014. I want to see this with a really big crowd.

What films?

Bare films, stuff that came out last year I never even knew about.

I dunno why the gap between the US release and UK release is so big, really pissed off with that, woulda loved to watch it round about now tbh.

Guess it will be worth the wait.

makes me really think they wanted Liam Neeson for the role, and that it will be Your typical special agent film, rebore Bourne, etc.

but I will still watch for the novelty

gotta love a time travel movie, hope there's a new take on the subject

so 2014 is the years for original movies again

none of this trilogy crap
