some people are enjoying this whole thing, way too much, come like people are forgetting that at the crux of the matter is 5 children dont have a dad anymore and a family has lost a Son, brother Nephew Uncle cousin etc.
obviously this has been LONGGGGG forgotten. theres no "come like" about it
this is the saddest part, some of these people doing sh*t wont even have known about what happened till last night, and couldnt give a f*ck anyway.
Same time a lot of people who don't want to deal with the issue of police brutality especially in ethnic minorities are using the riots to deflect away from the initial issue, but i guess thats what you said would happen, if the riots were only focused on police then the message would of got across better/
which is what i was saying from minute 1. but with all due respect people like you were showing full support to something that had lost its focus from very very early, from when i saw William Hill being broken into then the Solicitors on Tottenham high road getting broken into i knew and most likely everybody else knew what was gonna happen

Do people still not think this reflects badly on us, /don't care if it does? This can't really carry on for much longer, surely not, Surely. People saying this was gd for the fact that ppl were showing unity, meh, people were getting weighed in all over Tottenham high road, an I ain't on about reporters and media ppl, coz I couldn't give a sh*t about them, Someone stabbed in Edmonton, Houses robbed, And to top it off, gang fights in Kings college hospital, How long till people start maybe questioning whether this was completely and delibratly kicked this off to f*ck us over, The authorities are coming out of this better than we will, Someone mentioned insurance pay outs earlier, Buying a car is a myth in Tottenham already insurance wise, now were truly f*cked, Don't even know why I'm so pisses about this coz I'm moving back to Manchester in a few years, but this is f*cked.

Reflect badly on whom? Black people? Before these riots took place the general consensus was a negative one - ahh he got what he deserved, man shouldn't have shot at police etc. The picture was already painted of a black gangster trying a ting and getting laid out. If it emerges that he never shot at police and bullet fired was police issue you think peoples perception's of him or others will change? Not happening. The authorities will always come out better here as the country has a culture of grumbling and complaining but doing sh*t about it. As long as it remains that way the iPCC can investigate and determine that he was resisting arrest etc. so they shot him.

I think his point isIf it would have emerged (as I assume it would) then the focus would have been on the fact the Police not only shot a man without warning, but lied about it afterward. Now the focus will obviously be made about the riots, and 'well I mean who can blame them for shooting him, look at what they have to deal with'

the looting and rioting will fizzle out..........the results of the ipcc will be released (hopefully the truth)and then there will be more protests/riots and because of this no change will happen...swear if i had the power i could whip london into shape.... make it good for most and ok at least for the rest.

I hear that but the police have been killing civilians for years without repercussion. No IPCC investigation will change that IMO. Yeah a few heads a the top will roll, but it's not them on the frontline - the culture there needs to change, otherwise events like Saturday will unfortunately become more commonplace.

white powers are stealing and looting and hacking and bombing causing violence in thier own ways. people seem little concerned about that.i personally dont give a sh*t only for the houses being burnt which is silly. 333 people have died in police custody since 1993, mostly black. Convictions : NONE.i find it all loollable. the best thing about all this is the govt will turn around on the youth services cuts. i hope it lasts another 5 nights
