Double pivot of Carrick and Fellaini would make us more solid in big games. They'll collect the ball via a pass from the defence/gk, tackle or interception then play a short pass/through ball/long ball to Kagawa who will hopefully be playing in the #10 role and he'll take it from there...

most fans think fellaini is ideal because they saw him last season playing sick, but his position would be completely diff if he came to united, at everton hes the "main guy" at united he wont be the main guy in the midfield, it will still be carrick, carrick has the better range of pass etc.

moyes had to play two holding players to accommodate him in big games. he isn't capable to play in a two man midfield with carrick imo

Moyes only played him up top because his other options were jelavic and anihebe And it allowed them to go from back to front easily and quickly.

Fellaini is a cm. A destroyer who can play ball. Should be an instant cop tbh. But again, i wont be getting my hopes up.
