I ain't having all this shit about Ferdinand comparison because Feedunand was already a England 1st team regular and had played in the later stages of the Chanpions league m, was one of the best defenders in the league and world.

Playing dirty doesn't come into it. You approach a club signal interest club give you an price and you negotiate from there. Our problem is the idiot in charge probably has a very small manhood and feels the need to publicly flex muscles to impress people. "We ate prepared to break the world transfer record" "there is no budget at this club" this means the prices clubs come back with are highly inflated.

APPARENTLY, SUPPOSEDLY AND PROBABLY the buzz words in this thread at the moment. :lmao:

It's not that complicated.

The only book United do things by is the cheque book. Nothing to do with playing by the book or otherwise.

Said a couple weeks ago that I still think Vidal will be joining but the same shit as last season is being repeated. New manager only starts work midway through July, in the same way LVG could sign off on Hererra surely he could've done so with Vidal. Knowing he was going into the season with only 3 established defenders. With the thought of playing 3 at the back.

Again last season the slow transfer window was Moyes' "ditthering dave" fault. This season has Van Gaal received any stick for it? Will he? No

The Aura is definitley back. This is why the players know and failure is on them. Nobody will be scapegoating the manager this season.

A Utd fan told me he could see LvG walk out due to being frustrated and annoyed wiith the board.

Same guy who said Moyes will get sacked after a season.

Can you guys see that? Or is this guy just chatting sh*t.

In one of his first interviews he spoke out about the riddiculous tours. Fergie gave the impression that he said what he wanted when in actually fact he was a game player. I think there more chance of Van Gaal saying what's on his mind. Which won't make for complete harmony.

Hopefully not but we'll see.

In other news the damage from the #MoyesEra is still being felt...

Manchester United will travel to face MK Dons in the second round of the Capital One Cup.

It is 19 years since United were involved at this stage of the competition, losing 4-3 on aggregate to York in September 1995.

From time Louis said we won't consider transfers until he's got to know the squad. The fact is we know nothing about the clubs transfer intentions and that's how we all wanted it to be.

1. Do you think he was consulted on the Herrera and Shaw deals? Do you think he was ok with them?

2. Is it a surprise that we need 2 midfielders?

3. With only 3 (injury prone) established centre backs in the squad is it a surprise we could do with at least one other in this position?

Getting to know the squad is all well and good but we are left with the exact same positions to fill as the day he took over. A midfielder to go along with the Herrera signing and at least 1 centre back to full the whole left by Vidic and to a lesser extent Ferdinand.

Getting to know the squad is all well and good in terms of knowing who to sell. But we've been in need of 2 midfielders for a while now. Nothing new about needing strengthening in midfield. I'm dreading the words "Fletcher will be like a new signing" his condition is only being maintained.

Carrick is 33!

Anderson is gone.

Fellani and "The brand" are short of the required level
