Germany defender Benedikt Howedes has revealed that he has turned down a move to Arsenal to stay with Schalke.

The 27-year-old told kicker-Sportmagazin: “Milan and Arsenal have really been keen on my services, this is what I am able to confirm.

“Still I have not opted against them, I have decided in favour of FC Schalke 04. My job is not done here yet. And, especially after last season, I told myself I do not want to leave this way. I am a key player of this club.”

May seem like an obvious question but it's not

2 if we gna cancel d scezney project does that mean d giroud project can also be withdrawn

Its the right move for all parties, bar Mourinho/Chelsea, not cos they lose anything to their club - he is their #2 ffs.

 

They just in effect, solve a problem for Arsenal. A problem which will help Arsenal in 36 other league games...

 

Chelsea have had his best years and they had to go with Courtios.

 

Cech has 2 (3 at a push) years at the top imo, one will be STRONG, one the lapses will start to show, at one time he was showing ageing at Chelsea.

 

er no he wasn't... theres a difference between a loss of form and ageing.

Yeah. Yeah it's a stupid question.

Especially when you know who our GK's are.

In respects to our manager, his softness, how he feels about halting players developments especially ones we've invested alot in and publicly backed it etc no its not so stupid unless it means someone's going on loan or out the door sharpish.

U been supporting arsenal for at least thirty years so the odds on this being true r pretty bang on.
