Was it Fergie or Charlton who said that?

Either way it was probably a ploy to sell more shirts. #PJ4 the brand has more legs to it than anything Cleverly and his people could sort. Jones is more bearable and easier controlled than the Scouse brand too.

tbh though at one point Jones did look like he was going to be a big player.

 

His performances dipped straight after fergie left , as well as everyone else . Think he and RVP felt it the most.

 

Been @ a stand still since,  shown a few glimpses here and there but Smalling has left him behind imo

 

Needs to get that concentration back & should be nowhere near the flanks

Never seen him have a good game

His second touch is a tackle

Only reason he wins balls is cos he lost in the first place

Midfield water carrier at best
