Santos ace Neymar has fuelled ongoing speculation linking him with a move to Barcelona by saying it would be 'a dream' to play alongside Lionel Messi.

The Brazilian striker is on the radar of a host of top European clubs, having been continually linked with Primera Liga giants Barca andReal Madrid, as well as Chelsea and Manchester City.

The 20-year-old, who is contracted at Santos until 2014, has hinted Camp Nou would be his preferred destination after stating his desire to play alongside Argentinian superstar Messi.

"To play alongside Messi would be a dream or even just training with him would make me happy," the 20-year-old was quoted as saying by Marca.

"For me the three best players in the word are [Andres] Iniesta, Cristiano [Ronaldo] and Messi, but the very best is Messi.

"There is nobody that can do what he can do."

Messi openly voiced his admiration of Neymar after both were shortlisted for this year's FIFA Ballon d'Or award and the Brazilian youngster was honoured by the praise.
