The problem with Van Persie is that as he isn't a proper CF he doesn't really play the role well, he's far too weak. His goals have masked his performances even when he was at Arsenal. Although he was starved of service today. The only time I've seen him play the CF role well was against Madrid at the Bernabau

 

Rooney would have made a difference today

 

At least Moyes knows your weak and has tried to address it with Fabregas. Someone like him would have made a big difference today. Problem is you can't get him and who else can you get now with one day left?

Cleverley isn't good enough to play for man utd against big opposition..I like his commitment and energy but when it comes to playing against top teams h gets found wanting....we need a top quality box to box midfielder to take his spot in the team because of the formation we play....our wingers smh to think we have had players like giggs in his prime, ronaldo, becks on the wings to fkin ashley young, valencia etc smh
