Manchester United appear to be closing in on Arda Turan after the Atletico Madrid winger’s agent confirmed an approach from a Premier League club.

United have been strongly linked with a move for Turkish international Turan in recent weeks, with David Moyes being spotted at Atletico matches watching him.

And amid growing speculation that United could make a £15million bid, the player’s agent has revealed that an English club, thought to be the Red Devils, made an offer this week.

‘Arda is playing at a big club with big goals and wants to be a part of their success,’ said agent Ahmet Bulut.

‘We have received an offer from an English club. We will see.

Manchester United manager David Moyes has used the international friendly week to scout two of France's hottest young talents.

The Scotsman was in attendance on Wednesday to watch the pair of Antoine Griezmann and Paul Pogba as France ran out 2-0 winners against Netherlands, which featured Robin van Persie, as reported by Richard Jolly of ESPNFC.com.

Twenty-two-year-old forward Griezmann of Real Sociedad was making his debut for Les Bleus, while former United player Pogba played for 81 minutes.

Jolly reports that United scout David Friio has tipped Griezmann to be a hit at this summer's World Cup. Friio told L'Equipe: "Griezmann would clearly bring something.

His versatility and technique, in a tournament where the gaps are reduced, are real assets. You can't score 15 goals in a great league [La Liga] without having real qualities."

Really impressed with CB Smalling again today

Surely Moyes has got it now, he doesnt have to drop Rafael for away games

It's not going to happen now or probably ever, but would LOVE to see

--------Mata-----------Kagawa-----------Adnan----

----------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------Welbeck-----------------------------

Welbs pace >>>>>

movement >>>>>

touch >>>>>

Its a shame though unless RVP and Rooney are both injured he isn't starting upfront or even at all

Nani is back in training now too

Go into these last games rotating between RVP, Mata, Nani, Kagawa, Adnan, Welbeck and the other guy

We will SMASH teams if he lets them play

Hopefully he has finally seen the light with Young and Valencia too

But the amount of times this season we have said hopefully he has seen the light now..
