This is Liverpool's worst home record since 1953 all hail King Kenny MEDIAWATCH going in on King Kenny today

Here All Week

Of the number of baffling things Kenny Dalglish said after Liverpool's defeat to Wigan on Saturday, his hilarious assertion that Luis Suarez forearming the ball into the net should have counted as a goal was obviously our favourite.

However, King Kenny also came out with the following, quite magnificent consecutive statements: "I don't think it's a deep-rooted problem.

"We have got a problem winning games in the league."

So there you have it - failing to win games = not a deep-rooted problem.

In addition, Kenny said: "It's a good squad and I have always said we have got that. You don't get to an FA Cup semi-final and win the Carling Cup if you aren't."

Presumably he also believes that Birmingham, who won the Carling Cup and reached the FA Cup quarter-finals, had a 'good squad' last season. So good, that they were relegated.

Kenneth Dalglish, ladies and gentlemen. Tip your waitress.

THE MOCKAGE>>>>>>>>>

Quote Of The Year

"Credit to Liverpool, they didn't just come to make up the numbers" - If beating Liverpool wasn't enough, Roberto Martinez sticks the boot in by patronising them as well.

Our Liverpool: Never Walk Alone begins deep inside the club at the end of the 2011-2012 campaign, with the team chasing its eighth FA Cup title against Chelsea at Wembley Stadium on May 5. Episodes continue through the club’s July tour of North America. FOX Soccer’s crew is there on and off the field as Liverpool prepares for the upcoming Barclays Premier League season and plays the first few matches of its 2012-2013 campaign. Throughout this journey Liverpool’s enduring traditions are highlighted, along with the club’s unparalleled and storied history, and its heartfelt place in the fabric of the local community.

“Anyone who supports, plays for, or works at this football club knows how unique and special it is and how much it means to so many,” said Liverpool Managing Director Ian Ayre. “This project creates a fantastic opportunity to allow people across the world to have a glimpse of the inner workings of the club following the lives of our staff, our players and our fans, all of whom make up everything that is Liverpool Football Club.”

Boggins’ most recent work includes around-the-clock access to boxing title bouts featuring Floyd Mayweather vs. Victor Ortiz (2011) and Manny Pacquiao vs. Ricky Hatton (2009). Boggins also ran point on 24/7’s insider coverage of the NHL’s Washington Capitals and Pittsburgh Penguins in the build-up to the 2011 NHL Winter Classic. His portfolio also includes 24/7 work centered upon NASCAR driver Jimmie Johnson, the college football rivalry between Ohio State and Michigan, and additional boxing projects featuring Joe Calzaghe and Roy Jones Jr. Boggins is Executive Producer of Our Liverpool: Never Walk Alone.

Liverpool is one of the most decorated clubs in the world, with eighteen topflight English titles, seven FA Cups and a record eight League Cups to its name. The Reds’ five European Cups are an English record, and the club has been home to some of the world’s biggest players since its inception. Liverpool is managed by club legend Kenny Dalglish, widely considered to be the best player in team history. International icon Steven Gerrard is the team’s captain, with nearly 600 first team appearances to his name over a 14-year Liverpool career.

Kenny yeah? This should be fun.

it'll be an opportunity for us to actually see this great personality everyone keeps talking about,

its aim is to increase the fanbase over there so the man will be on his best behaviour,

if not the fallout will be interesting, then the sequence of events afterwards will be equally so

kmt we fucked up man

oh well new season coming up I hope we sign the right players this year tho

I wouldn't mind Kuyt,Adam,Aurelio leaving. Keep the rest and loan out guys like Flanagan,Morgan,Coady. Promoting Sterling and Suso with Carragher being 6th choice behind Coates,Agger,Skrtel,Kelly,Wisdom.

Add guys who are versatile and still talented. In: Isla,Gaston Ramirez,Luuk De Jong,Victor Moses plus number 10

We shouldn't sell any of Henderson,Downing or Carroll we should add not sell this summer

this is kennys first full season

we had hodgson at the helm with guys like poulsen, konchesky and such

we signed a load of players at the start of this season and they haven't settled as quickly as kenny and co hoped so we suffered indifferent form

thats only normal. I for one didn't expect no amazing transformation this was a team that was 15th when Kenny took over from Roy

Next season is the time for guys like Carrol,Enrique,Downing,Henderson to be counted. They know the standards set and they know their role and system so I expect a lot more consistency. Of course if we don't all you wankers can take ur shots until then you should sling ur hook

/

we have one recognised dm in our team and he got a ACL injury and had to play inexperienced spearing in that role. who aint even a defensive mid ffs

So if next season you finish 4th but don't win a trophy, will you call it progress or not?

This whole we won the Carling cup thing so it's been a alright season thing is f*ck*ng retarded. Your in 9th place for Christ sake.

Not saying we've had a good season just cause we got a cup, but its a consolation prize. 4th place is a minimum which isn't something to celebrate like certain clubs do.
