A lot of you are overlooking that Chip had leverage, he got a million to make an album ffs... It sadly didn't sell.

 

His mistake was not getting a longer-term leverage and not finding T.I. while he had worldwide distribution, cos even a T.I. co-sign ain't getting him that.

 

His leverage came from the assumption that his fanbase had grown with instead of away from him.

 

Chip misunderstood that fickleness of the teenage female market - same way Dappy did.
