Raheem Sterling

In public, Liverpool players have urged Sterling to sign a new contract. But, at the club's Melwood training complex, it's a different story.

Sterling has been advised by a number of his current team-mates that he should leave if he wants to fulfil his huge potential and ambition.

The England star has listened to advice, for and against, leaving Merseyside in making what he believes is an educated and calculated decision.

A year ago Suarez almost won Liverpool the title. Now they're out of CL finishing below Tottenham and want Ings & Milner on frees.

No wonder he wants out.

WHAT!!

He's got 2 years left unless a bid of 45/50 mil at least comes in ...Iam sure the club wont have it and make him stay for one more season.

contracts are really meaningless in football

man's got 2 years left right? pool should do him like AVB did Ade

don't sell (unless 45+ mill is on the table) & stick him in the reserves

i hate players who right or wrongly think their bigger than the club

"He has not achieved anything, he has not won anything. Does anyone believe that if he goes to Manchester City he will be the first name on the team sheet or are they just signing him because they need English players?"

Barnes said there were other examples of players whose careers had not progressed at City.

"We have seen it with players in the past like Scott Sinclair," he added.
