But you want a player who wanted out of your club and said he was being treated like a slave

SMH

Hmm.

The Ronaldo Tevez disparity always confuses me if I'm honest.

One campaigned for two years to get offered a contract to reflect his all action 100% displays

The other campaigned unto leave for two years.

One publicly slated the board for not offering a contract at the agreed time and then offering below the agreed fee.

One publicly slated the club for keeping him subject to some sort of elaborate Mancunian slave trade.

It's obvious who should be greeted upon return as a mover of the family and who should be regarded as a treacherous rouge who did us dirty.

But that's just football I guess.

reminds me of the way some arsenal supporters still worship fabregas despite him pretending to be injured until he got his move and boo the likes of nasri and rvp.

I'm one of the people who liked Tevez and thought the club did him wrong as well. But he lost that respect when he started holding up banners about R.I.P Fergie to the neighbours. Ronaldo wanted to play for his boyhood club so it's hard to dislike him for that. He got his move and he's been nothing but respectful to United and Sir Alex since he left.

You might have turned on that basis and that's be fair, but the majority of the fanbase had made their feelings clear long before that.
