Drift
40/50 mill for a player who is injury prone and that nobody can tell me what his best position is and where he plays in your strongest 11? Would be crazy to turn that down. bruv
TF S4DK
Like I said unless Jack was pushing for a move, Arsenal won't sell regardless of offers. I think the attitude within Arsenal is due to previous sales, they leave for domestic rivals now either on a free or because they have a year left and demanding more money than is sensible for there status, and then get a great financial deal with that running down contract situation in mind. Taurus
As silly as this sounds, they could put a blank cheque in front of us and tell us name our price. It's Wilshere. You tear that cheque up. I don't care he's not the best 4/8/10 we have. I don't care he's not a guaranteed starter. You don't f**king sell Jack Wilshere. You lot are MAD. Wenger would never be forgiven for selling the golden boy.

Seth Rollins
It's all well and good saying "But look who we could buy with that £45mil", but we can now spend that without having to sell anyone.  Like I said, f**k selling anymore top players to rivals. Gas or not, we're 2nd, and if you want to go 1 better you don't go selling man like Wilshere to teams that have been finishing above us and winning the league for years. Drift
if a team comes with 40/50 mil for a player who doesnt get into your best xi, you sell. Â chelsea sold luiz to psg calm. Â madrid gave us oezil. Â barca sanchez

Natty
Lol @ selling Wilshere even if he don't reach his full potential you need them home grown players who can communicate what it means to play for the club that real passion is infectious he knows how much it means to beat totty and finish above them every season there is intangible value to home grown players and we ain't got a lot of them tbh

Michel Kane
 Wouldn't sell him for £80m.  Wild   It isn't wild at all.  In the long term, what Wilshere could offer to us competitively, culturally & from leadership POV potentially is priceless.  We're a very wealthy club with potential to continue growing so we don't rely on player sales to the same extent we once did.  Considering he's only 23 & most players don't peak until the age of 27 onwards, I'd feel more than comfortable keeping him around for next few years.  Most of his injuries & relapses have been preventable so this notion of how injury-prone he is I consider over-stated.  When he plays & more importantly, when he plays consistently, he's quality.  Bar Alexis, up until he got injured this season, he was our best player. In our strongest XI, he arguably starts but all dependant on opposition, system, strategy, etc.
Michel Kane
Additionally, what I'd like to say is that EVERY great side has a core of players that grow up in the club.  Whether they are indispensable starting XI players or fringe, squad players, they all play a vital role. It is an essential component of squad-building.  £40-50m in today's market isn't that much money, especially when you weigh up the pros & cons of what selling/keeping a player of Wilshere's potential would do.
