THE TRAVEL THREAD

I'm going cape verde in September with my girl.  I have been told there's not much to do outside of typical hotel resorts and that but if you want a relaxing holiday with a beautiful beach and environment I hear its good.  That's exactly what I wanted so I'm looking forward to it.  Next year I'm looking to reach Barbados for carnival and fly from there to Grenada for jouvert so this year can be a relaxing big trip.

Looking to book Barcelona soon.

Want to be located near a beach, but not too far from the city and sights.

Also AirBnb or Hotel?

All help is welcome.

You want to be staying in the Gothic Quarter, it's in the heart of everything and not far from the beach. But tbh if you want a nice beach to spend the day on I would travel out of the city.

Some beautiful places in England, especially some of the beaches in Cornwall. Just you're at the mercy of the weather.

Anyone reached Sicily?

Going for a week tomorrow. Got a villa on the east coast.  :Y:

Yeah went couple years back stayed in a villa between Palermo and Tripoli on the coast.

Heat was immense and the food sublime, especially the sea food.

Nice beaches too. Mondello beach in particular (where they filmed Oceans 12) Gets really busy though so get there early

Didnt get time to go to see the Volcano though however being situated in the east coast you should have plenty of time to pass through
